Our client is a leading sportswear brand who are making huge waves in the industry, with a city behind them and exposure globally through endorsements from some of the globe's most exciting athletes this brand is on track to be one of the North West's biggest success stories in recent years.</p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p>Reporting directly into an impressive Finance Director, this is a high profile role which will use accurate analysis to recommend clear actions with the aim of driving operational efficiencies and then ultimately increase profit.  </p><p><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop strong working relationships with the Executive and Commercial teams and become a trusted advisor.</li><li>Be the key day to day contact and provider of information to the Executive and Commercial teams.</li><li>Provide guidance to the Executive and Commercial teams and have the confidence to provide constructive challenge around assumptions and forecasts.</li><li>Ensure commentary on the management accounts for each business reflect accurately the current trading position; this is achieved by working closely with the Finance team at month end.</li><li>Continuously improve the way data is processed and information presented using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint presentations.</li><li>Produce budgets and forecasts in-line with company timetables.</li><li>Ensure Finance Director is made aware immediately of any material or significant issues.</li><li>Contribute and help to manage project initiatives directed by the Finance Director.</li><li>Complete all other tasks required to drive the financial success of the Division.</li><li>Promote active participation and team work with all stakeholders in company.</li></ul><p><strong>Commercial Finance Analyst Person profile</strong></p><ul><li>ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified or passed finalist</li><li>Proven commercial finance ability (including forward thinking and excellent judgement)</li><li>Very good with systems, data, excel, ERP systems (Sage Line 1000 beneficial)</li><li>Experience gained within an omni-channel retail/consumer background highly desirable</li><li>A strong analytical approach</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Used to adapting and dealing with multiple priorities</li><li>Deliver to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment</li></ul><p><strong>Commercial Finance Analyst Package</strong></p><p>£40,000 - £48,000 plus incredible staff benefits including discount, pension, rapid career development</p><p>Zachary Daniels and our client are both equal opportunity employers.
