This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic sales professional with a proven track record in the construction or building materials sector to join a well-established company with strong growth prospects.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">The successful candidate will be responsible for selling a range of slate and plank roofing products to roofing merchants, building merchants, and house builders across the region. You will be instrumental in driving new business development and managing key relationships to ensure sales targets are exceeded.</span></p><h3><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Key Responsibilities:</span></h3><ul><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Business Development: Proactively seek new business opportunities within the roofing and construction sectors, focusing on roofing merchants, building merchants, and house builders.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Account Management: Maintain and grow existing relationships with key clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets by promoting and selling the company's slate and plank roofing solutions.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Regional Coverage: Manage the Midlands territory, focusing on the M6 and M1 corridors, ensuring maximum market penetration and brand presence.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Market Intelligence: Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to adapt and refine sales strategies.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company's product range and offer expert advice to customers on the most suitable roofing solutions for their needs.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Collaboration: Work closely with the internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and client activity for senior management.</span></li></ul><h3><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Candidate Requirements:</span></h3><ul><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Industry Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience within the building materials, construction, or roofing industries.
