People are at the heart of our retail concept, and we want to invest in our staff and make the future extraordinary.</p><p> </p><p>As a result of our expansion plans, and our continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Revenue Assistant to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth.</p><p> </p><p>About the Role:</p><p> </p><p>The Revenue Assistant will support the Revenue team in ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of the company’s revenue streams, credit control and other debtor balances, covering both in-store and online sales channels. This role will work under the guidance of the Revenue Reconciliation Manager, focusing on routine tasks, discrepancy resolution and assisting in maintaining the integrity of the revenue processes.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><span><ul><li>Assist in the daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of revenue from in-store and online channels.</li><li>Identify and report discrepancies between sales records and actual revenue, escalating issues as needed.</li><li>Support the reconciliation of transactions across various payment platforms, including card payments and online payment processors.</li><li>Accurately input data related to revenue reconciliation processes.</li><li>Maintain organized records and documentation of reconciliations, discrepancies, and resolutions for auditing and reporting purposes.</li><li>Reconciliations of other miscellaneous debtor balances</li><li>Work with the team to suggest and implement improvements in reconciliation processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.</li><li>Raising of sales invoices</li><li>Credit Control</li></ul></span><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;"> </p><p>Person Specification:</p><span><ul><li>Strong experience in financial reconciliation, preferably within a retail environment.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry.</li><li>Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines</li><li>Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA).</li><li>Experience with multi-channel retail environments.</li></ul></span><p> </p><p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p><p> </p><span><ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Pension</li><li>Long service awards</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Cycle to work scheme</li></ul></span><p> </p><p><strong>Position: </strong>Permanent, Full-time</p><p><strong>Hours:</strong> Monday – Friday, 08:45am – 17:30pm.</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Plymouth, Devon</p>
