Simon joined the Theo Paphitis Retail Group as an intern to the Group CEO’s Commercial Exec. By the time he left 8 years later, he was Head of B2B & Education at Ryman. A shrewd, commercially focused marketeer, Simon launched his digital agency, Childsey, in 2020 and now leads a team of six specialising in digital marketing, media production and web design, including this site.
Zac Clements
Co-founder of Zachary Daniels, a recruitment company that, for more than a decade, has been busy reshaping the way retail recruitment is done. After a management role with IKEA, Zac switched focus to recruitment, building his experience, contacts and reputation with Hays and Michael Page, before building Zachary Daniels to become one of the most trusted names in the sector.
Danny Monfea
Co-founder of Zachary Daniels and a driving force behind giving the ZD team a stake in their success by making the business employee-owned in 2022. Danny started his retail career in back-office loss prevention with Woolworths and then BHS before moving into retail recruitment in 2007, leading teams for 360 Talent and Hays. In 2011, with Zac, he set about creating an entirely fresh approach to hiring.
