We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our fast-paced and collaborative finance team!</strong><br></span></p><p><span><strong><span>Fully office based at the Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool, this position is full time, working 39 hours per week.</span></strong></span></p><p><span>As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will responsible for ensuring our Goods for Resale invoices are paid accurately and on time. This role has emphasis on processing high volume of invoices and is key to the Finance operations team achieving their objectives.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p><span><strong>The key accountabilities in this role are:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul type="disc"><li><span>Ensure invoices are processed accurately and according to payment terms to support timely payments</span></li><li><span>Liaising with suppliers on invoice queries</span></li><li><span>Communicate with B&amp;M colleagues to address and resolve supplier queries.</span></li><li><span>Statement reconciliations</span></li><li><span>Raising Debit Notes to ensure payments are accurate&nbsp;</span></li></ul><p><span><strong>The experience &amp; skills required to be successful are:</strong></span></p><ul type="disc"><li><span>Previous experience in a busy, high-volume finance team will be a strong preference</span></li><li><span>Prior Oracle experience highly desired along with excellent Microsoft Excel skills</span></li><li><span>Ability to work at pace and meet tight deadlines</span></li><li><span>Accuracy and high attention to detail&nbsp;</span></li><li><span>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effectively handling invoice queries</span></li><li><span>Ability to adapt to a changing technology landscape as we make efficiencies&nbsp;</span></li></ul><p><span><strong><span>We offer you a range of great benefits including discount in our stores, a colleague portal offering discount for numerous retailers, hospitality &amp; much more!
