As the Assistant Finance Manager you will be supporting the Supply Chain Finance Manager. The business is fast-paced, exciting and always looking at how they can keep being a highly regarded company and keep growing!</p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="color: #434143; font-family: Lato, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">What is your role?</span> </strong></p><ul class="MailOutline"><li>You will be responsible for ensuring that all performance and financial inputs are received on a timely basis and updated. </li><li>Monitor and manage depot fuel usage, fleet costs and mileage records. </li><li>Monitor and manage 3rd Party storage stock levels, transport costs and inter depot transfer costs.</li><li>Support the production of Supply Chain's weekly and period cost reporting and depot balance sheet reviews.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Key Accountabilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Support the Finance Manager in producing period accounts, budgets and forecasts.</li><li>Support the Finance Manager in maintaining proper cost records relating to strategic projects.</li><li>Monitor the performance of providers in providing accurate timely data to Iceland.</li><li>Ensure all relevant files are stored data is updated in financial and performance monitoring files.</li><li>Update the weekly financial performance data submitted by 3PL providers </li><li>Support the Finance Manager in producing the weekly cost reports working towards being able to independently report Product Supply weekly costs to the business.</li><li>Monitor, validate and report to the Finance Manager the cost of 3rd Party storage and haulage costs.</li><li>General support and cover for others in the Supply Chain Commercial function.</li><li>Ad hoc projects and support senior stakeholders </li></ul><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience/Technical Skills</span></strong></p><ul class="MailOutline"><li>Excel (Advanced)</li><li>Databases &amp; SQL usage an advantage</li><li>SAP experience (or other accounting package)</li><li>Attention to detail, an enquiring mindset and the ability to work to deadlines</li><li>Confidence in communicating with internal and external key stakeholders</li><li>Logistics and/or general accounting experience would be an advantage</li></ul><div><span style="color: #434143; font-family: Lato, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Benefits:</strong></span></div><div><ul class="MailOutline"><li>Staff discounts across all products </li><li><span style="color: #434143; font-family: Lato, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Recognition and and rewards for long service</span></li><li>Option to join Health Care plans</li><li>Confidential Financial and emotional support to all employees</li><li>Discounted gym membership</li><li>Discounted dry cleaning </li><li>Onsite Electric car charging </li></ul><p><strong>BBBH32805</strong></p></div></dd>
