This role is pivotal in driving the development and execution of EE’s audience-centric brand strategy that deeply resonate with the evolving needs of our target audiences. This role will develop the 12-18 month brand strategy, leading the shift across the organisation to a fully audience led and integrated approach across our paid, owned and earned channels.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>What you’ll be doing</b></h2></div><div><p>As the lead brand strategist for EE, you will be responsible for:&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><b>Brand strategy development</b></p><ul><li>Own and drive the EE brand’s long-term vision and positioning across all touchpoints. Lead the development of the brand strategy linked to product category and commercial growth strategies, target audience needs and market trends (6+12 months out)</li><li>Fully embed the brand strategy across the organisation, including influencing support &amp; change required across different areas of the business to achieve business objectives &amp; brand vision</li><li>Main interface across agency planning to deliver the longer term brand strategy across creative, media, owned channel journeys &amp; brand experience&nbsp;</li></ul><p><b>Audience development, data strategy &amp; insight&nbsp;</b></p><ul><li>Data lead audience sizing, profiling &amp; understanding to get to deeper more meaningful insight that will drive the stories and solutions to drive the EE brand forward across the full ecosystem of the brand experience&nbsp;</li><li>Combine creativity and communications effectiveness through strong understanding of audiences, insight, data strategy and media thinking across all channels to lead communications strategy across paid, owned and earned channels&nbsp;</li></ul><p><b>Development of a fully audience led and integrated 12+ month comms strategy across paid, owned and earned channels</b></p><ul><li>Combine paid and owned communications touchpoints to create an ecosystem of brand stories &amp; communications that lead our audiences on a journey to a specific brand outcome over time</li><li>Understand how we can both proactively communicate and respond to triggers of our audiences and the moments/times of the year that are most relevant to them</li></ul><p><b>Lead on strategic brand transformation projects&nbsp;</b></p><ul><li>Lead on bigger projects that impact the brand evolution &amp; commercial growth outcome</li></ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><h2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>The skills and experience you will have under your belt</b></h2></div><div><p><b>Experience and Expertise:</b></p><ul><li>Proven experience in a brand and communications strategy &amp; planning role where you have successfully led cross-functional teams, developed large scale brand transformation strategies, and leveraged complex data to drive business growth&nbsp;</li><li>Creative/Media strategy &amp; planning experience agency side preferred – with expertise leading an audience led comms approach in paid and owned channels</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><b>Skills:</b></p><ul><li>Brand and communications strategy: brings a deep understanding of brand positioning, development and evolution&nbsp;</li><li>Story-telling with insight and data: strong skills building the case for change, drawing on insight, data and analytical planning techniques with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both senior leadership and cross-functional teams at all levels</li><li>Commercial acumen: ability to link business &amp; commercial priorities through to brand and communications strategy&nbsp;</li><li>Master storyteller: strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders and teams at all levels of the organisation</li><li>Data-driven: highlight analytical with a passion for data.
