<p><span></span></p><p><span><strong>We have an exciting opportunity to join our Customer Service team, as a Customer Service Advisor!</strong><br></span></p><p><span><strong><span>Fully office based at the Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool, this position is full time working 39 hours per week (8.30am – 5pm) and requires occasional Saturday (9am-3pm) + bank holiday cover.</span></strong></span></p><p><span>The role of Customer Service Advisor is fast paced and varied, where no two days will be the same. </span><span>As the first point of contact for customer queries, you’ll need to be e<span>nergetic</span>,&nbsp;<span>empathetic,</span>&nbsp;and </span><span>confidently be able to provide appropriate solutions to a wide range of different situations.</span><span> You will be joining a dedicated, supportive </span><span>team that actively listens and responds to a high volume of questions, queries, compliments, and concerns across multiple channels every day.</span></p><p><span><strong><span>The key activities in this role are:</span></strong></span></p><ul type="disc"><li><span>Answering and responding to customers queries via live chat, phone, and email.</span></li><li><span>Making follow up outbound calls to customers – no cold calling.</span></li><li><span>Liaising with internal teams and suppliers to resolve customers queries.</span></li><li><span>Complete accurate records to support department reporting.</span></li><li><span>Attend meetings to keep up to date with latest business news.</span></li><li><span>Positively representing our brand when engaging with customers.</span></li></ul><p><span><strong><span>The experience/skills required in the role are:</span></strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Previous customer service experience, within in a fast-paced environment.</span></li><li><span>Experience with Live Chat and customer support ticketing systems is beneficial but not essential.</span></li><li><span>Ability to provide exceptional customer service, finding a balance for company and customer.</span></li><li><span>Be confident with conflict resolution – able to remain calm under pressure.</span></li><li><span>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</span></li><li><span>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.</span></li><li><span>Ability to work on your own initiative and as well as part of a team.</span></li></ul><p><strong><span>We&nbsp;also offer you a range of great benefits including discount in our stores, free parking for all colleagues in our Support Centre, colleague portal offering additional discount for retailers, hospitality &amp; much more!&nbsp;Check out our full benefits here –&nbsp;</span></strong><span><a href="https://careers.bmstores.co.uk/our-bm-benefits/"><strong><span>https://careers.bmstores.co.uk/our-bm-benefits/</span></strong></a></span></p><p><span><strong><span>If you are looking for a new&nbsp;challenge&nbsp;within a busy team and a growing business, apply online today!</span></strong></span></p><p><em><span>B&amp;M Retail are an equal opportunity employer.
