This is a hands-on role, working closely with senior leadership to ensure robust financial reporting, process improvements, and payroll management.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>The Finance Controller will play a key role in ensuring strong financial processes, accurate reporting, and effective cash flow management. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the finance function and drive efficiencies.</p><p><strong><strong>Financial Controller</strong> Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare monthly and weekly MI and management accounts, ensuring timely reporting.</li><li>Develop consolidated monthly management accounts, including P&amp;L, balance sheet, and cash flow.</li><li>Lead cash flow forecasting and treasury processes.</li><li>Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and manage the annual statutory accounts process.</li><li>Support budgets, forecasts, and project cash flow forecasting.</li><li>Represent financial performance in monthly board meetings.</li><li>Prepare year-end statutory accounts and tax computations.</li><li>Manage VAT, PAYE, and CIS returns.</li><li>Oversee purchase, debtors, and creditors ledgers.</li><li>Process payroll for the business.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant with strong hands-on accounting skills and a commercial mindset.
