<h2>About the role</h2><p>We have an&nbsp;opportunity available to join our Format and Development Team as a field based Format &amp; Development Merchandiser. You will be responsible for delivering the new store and refit program for Budgens, Londis, Premier and Family shopper in the south and midlands. This is a full time role working 38 hours per week over 5 days.</p><p>This is a regional role predominantly covering the south and midlands and due to the nature of the role travel is required. More details about this can be discussed at interview.&nbsp;</p><h2>Main Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Organising and attending site meetings at stores along with Retail Development Managers (RDM), shop fitters and signage companies to discuss scope of works and brand expectations.</li><li>Taking ownership and being the point of contact for the project, liaising between the retailer, RDM, shop fitter&nbsp;and signage company.</li><li>Articulate layout changes that might be required&nbsp;before the project starts or during the project to ensure the merchandising team have a fully accurate plan to work from.</li><li>Work alongside RDMs, Planners and Merchandisers to ensure stores are following brand guidelines.</li><li>Managing shopfitters on site to ensure specifications are being followed and resolving any issues that may arise.</li><li>Review and ordering equipment based on brand and site requirements.</li><li>Ensure imagery and POS is fit for purpose and within current promotions / brand guidelines.</li></ul><h2>You will need</h2><ul><li>A full driving licence and car is essential as traveling is a big part of this role (you will be provided with a car allowance to enable you to carry out your role).</li><li>Previous project management or store development experience.</li><li>Expert working knowledge of all our brands including Premier, Budgens, Londis and Family Shopper.</li><li>High level&nbsp;communication skills to be able to manage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Organisational skills to manage multiple projects at once.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills.</li><li>Good IT skills</li></ul><h2>What's in it for you</h2><p>At Booker, along with being a great place to work and giving you an opportunity to get on in your career, we also offer the following fantastic package of benefits:</p><ul><li>A Booker colleague card with 10% off purchases at Booker and double discount events up to three times a year.</li><li>After 3 months service, a Tesco colleague discount card with 10% increasing to 15% off most purchases at Tesco for a 4 day period after every four-weekly pay day, ie. thirteen times a year.
