<p><span>We have an exciting new opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our distribution centre in Speke on a 6 month contract.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span>This is an exciting opportunity to join our maintenance team and help resolve, repair issues and maintain equipment in our site. Working full time, reporting into our Facilities &amp; Maintenance Manager.</span></p><p><strong><span>Key Responsibilities:</span></strong></p><ul><li><span>Work with 3rd party contracts to ensure best value</span></li><li><span>H&amp;S Requirements, site compliance being key, i.e., PUWER/LOLER etc</span></li><li><span>Put health &amp; safety best practices first in all work carried out ensuring compliance with all health &amp; safety standards and regulations</span></li><li><span>Planned maintenance schedules are followed and actioned effectively</span></li><li><span>To work within the Facilities teams to resolve, repair issues and maintain equipment, assisting with quotes and project work</span></li><li><span>React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue</span></li><li><span>Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements </span></li></ul><p><strong><span>Skills and Experience:</span></strong></p><ul><li><span></span><span>The right candidate would have warehouse automation experience as the company looks to open our new warehouse</span></li><li><span>Served a full Engineering indentured Apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject (City &amp; Guilds EAL, SVQ/IVQ, BTEC all at Level 3)</span></li><li><span>Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines</span></li><li><span>Experience of setting standards and implementing on them site</span></li><li><span>Warehouse internals i.e. Racking/dock doors/dock lifting systems/ sprinklers/lighting/power distribution/plumbing/joinery and general repair works</span></li><li><span>Organise and prioritise multiple maintenance works</span></li><li><span>Good communication skills within a team but also working alongside operations</span></li></ul><p><strong><span>Why Join Us?</span></strong></p><p><span>This role offers much more than just a job—it’s a chance to grow, develop, and shape your career in a supportive, collaborative environment.</span></p><p><span>We’re proud to offer a range of benefits to our colleagues, including:</span></p><ul type="disc"><li><span>Discounts in our stores.</span></li><li><span>Free on-site parking.</span></li><li><span>Access to an exclusive colleague portal with savings on retail, hospitality, and more.</span></li><li><span>And so much more!
