In this role, you will be working alongside an experienced Buyer, with the day-to-day running of a busy department. </strong></span><strong>The role is full time office based, at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool L24.</strong></p><p><span><strong>The key accountabilities in the role are:</strong></span></p><ul type="disc"><li><span>Assisting with the creation of weekly core stock orders, managing orders into the business efficiently</span><span></span></li><li><span>Driving performance for key trading periods i.e. new product range launches, seasonal peaks etc.</span></li><li><span>Analysing data & current trends to make the right decisions, identifying “gaps“ in the market</span></li><li><span>Cultivating close working relationships with key suppliers, to maximise sales/profit throughout the range</span><span></span></li><li><span>Working to tight restrictions, you’ll ensure stock is maintained at the correct levels</span></li><li><span>Maintain and update WSSI’s & line cards on a daily basis</span></li><li><span>Proficient in the use of excel, you’ll develop reports that communicate the relevant information</span></li></ul><p><span><strong>The ideal candidate will have the following experience/skills:</strong></span></p><ul type="disc"><li><span>Already an experienced Merchandiser, or a Junior Merchandiser who is ready to step up</span></li><li><span>Results orientated with a track record of achieving targets & delivering growth</span></li><li><span>Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills</span></li><li><span>Able to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers</span></li><li><span>Strong numerical and analytical skills, methodical with numbers</span></li><li><span>Able to utilise data to fully understand customer behaviour and habits</span></li><li><span>Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel</span></li></ul><p><span>We also offer you a range of great benefits including discount in our stores, free parking for all colleagues in our Support Centre, colleague portal offering additional discount for retailers, hospitality & much more!
