<h2>About the role</h2><p>We are recruiting for Operations Clerks within our Warehouse Team. As a Warehouse Operations Clerk, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the administration of your department is completed as well as supporting the department with any operational activities as required. There will also be times when you will need to support the Warehouse team.</p><p>You’ll work closely with the Senior Operations Clerks, Team Managers to ensure that all paperwork within your team is completed accurately &amp; goods within the warehouse function are received properly.</p><p>You will ensure that all Warehouse Operatives are communicated to with relevant information, and support with equipment queries.</p><h2>Main Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Responsibility for Stock Management and Stock Control</li><li>Code checking and checking quality of stock</li><li>Vending machine replenishment and cleaning</li><li>Hospitality Support</li><li>Assist in maintaining housekeeping in the canteen facilities, dining area and Kitchen counters, including weekly and daily cleaning schedule</li><li>Able to follow a checklist and manage their own time to complete all tasks</li><li>Adhere to food hygiene/HACCP/Allegen/COSHH Guidelines at all times</li><li>Maintain due diligence on temperature controls</li></ul><h2>You will need</h2><p>The ideal candidate will have an excellent attitude towards customer service with a friendly outgoing personality and be used to working within a team environment.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Hygienic and able to keep on top of a 24hr canteen.</li><li>Good communication and organisation skills with a mind to assist and provide ideas to stream line processed within stock integrity.</li><li>Will take pride in the canteen presentation.</li><li>You have sound numeracy and literacy skills</li><li>You have experience within warehouse chambers (advantageous but not essential)</li><li>You are flexible and versatile</li><li>You are able to produce quality standard of work</li><li>You have good PC and organisational skills</li><li>You have the ability to work under pressure &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>You are an advocate for Health &amp; Safety</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><h2>What's in it for you</h2><p>At Booker, along with being a great place to work and giving you an opportunity to get on in your career, we also offer the following fantastic package of benefits:</p><ul><li>A Booker colleague card with 10% off purchases at Booker and double discount events up to three times a year.</li><li>After 3 months service, a Tesco colleague discount card with 10% increasing to 15% off most purchases at Tesco for a 4 day period after every four-weekly pay day, ie. thirteen times a year.
