<h2>About the role</h2><p>We are looking for a reliable and efficient Order Picker to join our team at Venus Wine and Spirit Merchants PLC, based at our Tottenham Depot. As a key part of our logistics team, you will be responsible for accurately picking and processing orders, ensuring timely and safe delivery of our premium products. This is a part-time, permanent position offering 25 hours per week, with the opportunity to work additional hours during peak business periods. It’s a great chance to be part of a well-established company in the industry.</p><h2>Main Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Pick and process orders from a given pick list</li><li>Ensure orders are accurate</li><li>Stack items correctly for delivery</li><li>Operate handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed</li><li>Carry out stock replenishments</li><li>Ensure warehouse goals are met</li><li>Maintain a high level of health and safety standards</li><li>Shrink wrap products to pallets</li><li>Perform other general warehouse duties as needed</li></ul><h2>You will need</h2><ul><li>Preferably previous experience working in a warehouse&nbsp;</li><li>Attention to detail&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to lift heavy objects&nbsp;</li><li>Experience handling of electric pump trucks&nbsp;</li><li>Positive attitude&nbsp;</li><li>Self-Motivated; active&nbsp;</li><li>Safety conscious&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment&nbsp;</li><li>Good communication skills; good spoken and written English&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work well both in a team and alone</li></ul><h2>What's in it for you</h2><ul><li>Employee discounts after 3 months, such as:</li><li>A Booker colleague card with 10% off purchases at Booker and double discount events up to three times a year.</li><li>A Tesco colleague discount card with 10% increasing to 15% off most purchases at Tesco thirteen times a year.
