<p>My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager to join near Grangemouth. You will be working with a successful manufacturer, that have a culture on site that is results-driven with a strong focus on continuous improvement. </p><p>The company is well established, financial stable and have earned a reputation as an excellent employer.</p><div><span style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span><strong>:</strong></div><div><ul><li>Manage and evaluate machine and labour resources to ensure continuous productivity and minimal downtime</li><li>Planning and organising production schedules</li><li>Distribute manpower effectively</li><li>Ensure production is cost effective, ran as efficiently as possible and minimise overtime spend</li><li>Ensure that Team Leaders are fulfilling the Roles and Responsibilities expected of them</li><li>Overseeing the production process, ensuring adherence to required process and quality controls</li><li>Reviewing departments performance against Action Plans and KPI's</li><li>Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees</li><li>Ensure the shop floor is kept up to date on factory performance and news relevant to the business</li></ul><p><strong>Experience required:</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years minimum experience in a manufacturing management role</li><li>Sound knowledge, understanding and examples of implementation of lean manufacturing principles and methods</li><li>Implement a culture of continuous improvement, always seeking out opportunities to do things better</li><li>Excellent project management skills</li><li>The ability to lead, motivate and influence large multi-functional teams</li><li>Successful track record of training employees in productivity and safety</li><li>Successful implementation of an effective succession planning program </li></ul></div>
