<h2>About the role</h2><p><strong>Great Opportunity to Join Booker as a Sales Ledger Administrator In our Eccles Office. This is a Fixed Term Maternity Cover for 12 Months, 20hrs Per Week Over 4 Days.&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Sales Ledger Administrator will be responsible for all processing functionalities relating Direct Debit activity within the Booker Wholesale Delivered team.</p><p>To deliver an efficient and effective service to both internal and external customers at all times.</p><p>Preparing journals using Excel</p><p>Allocation of Cash payments received from customers.&nbsp;</p><p>Dealing with credit check report alerts.&nbsp;</p><h2>Main Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Generating daily customer statements by way of our internal processing system SAP.</li><li>Raising manual invoices to customers by way of Excel and then uploading the data into the SAP system.</li><li>Allocating Cash daily, direct into the SAP system.</li><li>The collation and collection of the Direct Debits, using several systems.</li><li>Managing the reversals of any unpaid Direct Debits by reversing the transactions back to the open ledger.&nbsp;</li><li>Processing and resolving accounting queries received by our retailers, relating to financial queries relating to their deliveries.</li><li>Ad hock duties to support the Accounts Receivable and Credit Control teams.&nbsp;</li></ul><h2>You will need</h2><ul><li>Experience in a busy Sales Ledger Department</li><li>Excel skills to an Advanced level&nbsp;</li><li>Reconciliation experience between SAP and Excel</li><li>Interrogation of data using SAP&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent verbal and written Customer Service approach</li><li>Proven organisation and planning skills</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Must be able to work on own initiative but also able to be part of the team</li><li>Deadline driven</li></ul><h2>What's in it for you</h2><p>At Booker, along with being a great place to work and giving you an opportunity to get on in your career, we also offer the following fantastic package of benefits:</p><ul><li>A Booker colleague card with 10% off purchases at Booker and double discount events up to three times a year.</li><li>After 3 months service, a Tesco colleague discount card with 10% increasing to 15% off most purchases at Tesco for a 4 day period after every four-weekly pay day, ie. thirteen times a year.
