At Nobia UK, we’re on the lookout for a Senior HSE Advisor to join our talented team in Darlington.</p><p>Salary – Up to £40,800, plus a car allowance of £5,600</p><p><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></p><p>In this pivotal role, you will lead and promote health, safety, and environmental best practices across all operational activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. You’ll play a critical part in fostering a culture where safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your day-to-day will include:</p><ul><li>Providing direct support to the Senior UK HSE Manager.</li><li>Ensuring completion of HSE reports and KPIs accurately and on time.</li><li>Assisting in managing and developing management systems for the achievement of ISO45001/14001/50001.</li><li>Delivering training to colleagues in a variety of health and safety related courses.</li><li>Assisting with visits from Local Authorities, Health and Safety Executive, Environment Agency and other third-party agencies.</li><li>Providing evidence packs and assisting with liability claims.</li><li>Undertaking any such additional duties required that are within the capability and level of the position.</li></ul><p><strong>What you’ll bring to the team</strong></p><p>We’re looking for a proactive problem-solver, who has a proven track record of delivering exceptional HSE performance. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:</p><ul><li>Level 6 Diploma in Health and Safety.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to engage colleagues at all levels and mentor the HSE advisory team.</li><li>Possess skills to train, coach, mentor, advise and be a support for line management.</li><li>A broad understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental issues and a passion to continually improve HSE performance.</li><li>Possess strong leadership skills with the ability to value teamwork above all.</li><li>Proven organisational transformation skills.</li><li>Experience in continuous improvements, audits, developing management systems and producing KPI's.</li><li>Experience in risk assessment in all areas of Health, Safety and Environmental.</li></ul><p><strong>Why join Nobia</strong></p><p>At Nobia, we’re more than just a leading kitchen specialist, we’re a community that values creativity, teamwork, and personal growth.
