People are at the heart of our retail concept, and we want to invest in our staff and make the future extraordinary</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>As a result of our expansion plans, and our continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Senior Stock Analyst to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>About the Role:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><span><ul><li>The Senior Stock Analyst role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to our continued growth and success by providing actionable insights and recommendations to enhance our stock management processes and drive business performance. If you have a passion for data analysis and a desire to make a meaningful impact, we invite you to join our dynamic team.</li></ul></span><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><span><ul><li>Utilise various data sources such as databases, APIs, and internal systems to gather relevant data for analysis.</li><li>Analyse data to identify patterns, trends, and insights related to product development and stock management.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Commercial, and Finance, to address master data issues causing stock inaccuracies.</li><li>Track individual stock movements to test the accuracy of system processes and create detailed business analysis outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions.</li><li>Develop and maintain an Operational scorecard providing meaningful information and key performance indicators (KPIs) across the business.</li><li>Produce regular and ad-hoc reporting related to shrinkage, operational performance, stock control and stock movement.</li><li>Provide insights into causes of deviation from stock loss forecasts and new opportunities, continually seeking ways to improve models and forecasts for accuracy.</li><li>Collaborate with the analytics team on varied projects aimed at improving operational performance and efficiency.</li><li>Identify key themes and trends in data and provide feedback to relevant teams for forward planning.</li></ul></span><p style="margin-left:36.0pt;">&nbsp;</p><p>Person Specification:</p><span><ul><li>Previous experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within retail/financial services.</li><li>Expert knowledge of Excel formulas and pivot tables, with intermediate SQL skills.</li><li>Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from large volumes of data.</li><li>Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.</li><li>Confident, proactive, and capable of working with complex tasks towards deadlines.</li><li>Stakeholder management experience and a background in an analytical or commercial role.</li></ul></span><p>&nbsp;</p><p>What we offer:</p><p>&nbsp;</p><span><ul><li>Competitive salary</li><li>Pension</li><li>Long service awards</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Cycle to work scheme</li></ul></span><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position: </strong>Permanent, Full-time</p><p><strong>Hours:</strong> Monday – Friday, 08:45am – 17:30pm.</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Plymouth, Devon</p>
