<p><strong><span>We have an exciting opportunity for a Stock &amp; Systems Manager to join our Team, based at our Speke DC. </span></strong></p><p><span>This is a full time position, working Monday – Friday. </span></p><p><span>In this role, you’ll be at the heart of shaping and executing our&nbsp;<strong>inventory management strategy</strong>, focusing on controlling costs, improving order efficiency, and rationalising inventory. </span></p><p><strong><span>Your Key Responsibilities</span></strong></p><ul type="disc"><li><span>Collaborate with the General Manager to create and roll out stock and systems strategies that enhance operations at our distribution centre.</span></li><li><span>Oversee the day-to-day management of stock and systems, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.</span></li><li><span>Spot opportunities for process enhancements and introduce new ways of working to optimise stock management.</span></li><li><span>Ensure that warehouse space is utilised effectively, meeting all stock demands.</span></li><li><span>Oversee stock control, with a focus on availability, service levels, security, and ongoing process improvements.</span></li><li><span>Use our&nbsp;<strong>Warehouse Management System (WMS)</strong>&nbsp;to predict stock patterns and demands, helping the team stay ahead of the game.</span></li><li><span>Manage, motivate, and mentor a team of&nbsp;<strong>Stock System Super Users</strong>, fostering a collaborative, high-performing work environment.</span></li><li><span>Work closely with the management team to meet and exceed stock and system KPIs, using your strong influencing skills.</span></li><li><span>Regularly review stock lines and optimise&nbsp;<strong>SKU locations</strong>&nbsp;to ensure the most efficient picking routes for our warehouse operatives.</span></li></ul><p><strong><span>What We’re Looking For</span></strong></p><ul type="disc"><li><span>Experience with JDA systems and&nbsp;<strong>Kronos</strong>&nbsp;is a bonus.</span></li><li><span>A basic understanding of stock management systems to ensure accurate tracking.</span></li><li><span>Some prior experience managing or leading a small team is highly desirable.</span></li><li><span>Previous experience in a stock or systems role in a high-volume warehouse environment.</span></li><li><span>Understanding of&nbsp;<strong>Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)</strong></span></li><li><span>Ability to spot inefficiencies and contribute to positive changes within the distribution centre.</span></li></ul><p><strong><span>Why Join Us?</span></strong></p><p><span>This role offers you the chance to grow within an ambitious business, working with a supportive team and making a tangible impact.</span></p><p><strong><span>Apply online today</span></strong><span>&nbsp;and be part of an exciting new chapter at B&amp;M!</span></p><p><span>We also offer an excellent benefits package, including discounts in our stores, free on-site parking, access to a colleague portal with additional discounts at retailers and hospitality venues, and much more!
