<p><span></span></p><p><strong><span>Know your way around a planogram?! Appreciate how important good merchandising is and be interested in making it happen?</span></strong></p><p><span><strong><span>If yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for a Visual Merchandiser within our Central Operations Team.</span></strong></span></p><p><span><strong><span>The role will be based full time at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool L24. This could be ideal for someone who has worked in retail previously and has a keen eye for product and merchandising.</span></strong></span></p><p><span>We do need someone who has some experience or knowledge of what a planogram is and what impact it is has instore. Our team produces planograms in the main for every product category B&amp;M sell! We need to ensure by working with our retail and buying teams that we develop the Visual Merchandising plan to maximise sales, profit, and return on space.</span></p><p><span><strong><span>The key accountabilities of the role will be:</span></strong></span></p><ul type="disc"><li><span>Produce planograms for different product categories, keeping them up to date as new lines arrive.</span></li><li><span>Produce communications and training guides suitable for implementation by store teams..</span></li><li><span>Produce best practice images.</span></li><li><span>Develop a strong set of principles to ensure implementation in store is simple.</span></li><li><span>Keep abreast of VM trends in other retailers to ensure that we remain visually competitive.</span></li><li><span>Work closely with the Communications Team to ensure that new launches are well planned and supported with POS and internal marketing, where necessary.</span></li><li><span>Store visits to review implementation and understand any issues faced in store, so that we can continuously improve.</span></li></ul><p><span><strong><span>Experience and skills we are looking for:</span></strong></span></p><ul type="disc"><li><span>Shop based retail experience would be highly desired.</span></li><li><span>Ideally someone with experience of producing and implementing planograms.</span></li><li><span>Microsoft Windows skills – comfortable with using PowerPoint, Word &amp; Excel.</span></li><li><span>Ability to articulate and communicate well.</span></li><li><span>A self-starter who is able to work on their own initiative or as part of different teams, as required.</span></li><li><span>Able to thrive under pressure, work at speed and&nbsp;deliver&nbsp;with tight timescales.</span></li><li><span>Able to plan and prioritise workload with the agility to react quickly to changes.</span></li></ul><p><span><strong><span>If you like the sound of our plan then please apply!</span></strong></span></p><p><span><strong><span>We&nbsp;also offer you a range of great benefits including discount in our stores, free parking for all colleagues in our Support Centre, colleague portal offering additional discount for retailers, hospitality &amp; much more!&nbsp;Check out our full benefits here –&nbsp;</span></strong><span><a href="https://careers.bmstores.co.uk/our-bm-benefits/"><strong><span>https://careers.bmstores.co.uk/our-bm-benefits/</span></strong></a></span></span></p><p><span><em><span>B&amp;M Retail are an equal opportunity employer.
