The business itself is a market leading multi-channel retailer partnering with some of the biggest brands in their space. Applicants must have experience of running and leading a large scale distribution centre, ideally in retail. </span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;">The Warehouse &amp; Distribution Manager will have the opportunity to build and create a team around them in the near future as the retailer continues expansion.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;"><strong><span style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The role as Warehouse and Distribution Manager:</span></strong></span></p><div><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Hire and build new distribution team from scratch to encompass the values and work ethics of the team.</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Lead, motivate and inspire the Distribution team, ensuring the team have a clear understanding of delegated tasks and overall strategy.</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Lead by example to  promote continuous improvement in all tasks</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Manage the performance of the Distribution team, provide effective coaching and enforce consistent delivery of REACH principles</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Investigate customer complaints with the Distribution team and present learnings to the rest of the Distribution team as appropriate </span></div><div><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Monitor and assess the Distribution team member performance including through disciplinary process as appropriate </span></div><div><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Enforce health standards, safety and security procedures and company rules.</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Deliver informative and motivational team briefs to distribute messaging and communicate change to the business from HO.</span></div><p><span style="font-size: 8pt;"><strong>The ideal candidate will have:</strong></span></p><ul class="MailOutline"><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Previous Warehouse Management experience, with knowledge of the retail sector, customer trends and needs. </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Excellent operational knowledge and understanding of specific customer, systems, and procedures. </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide the budgetary and financial controls</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Manages business through effective use of Key Performance Indicators. </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Competent in developing, reviewing, and reporting budgets.
